Our sellers father owned a number of interesting collectible vehicles and had an eye for choosing the "right ones" for his collection. In the family for twenty three years, our seller inherited this Wildcat about nine years ago and several years later, the decision was made to invest in a complete strip and re-paint, a new convertible top and a new interior. Additionally, he powertrain has been upgraded to a 5.3 Liter Vortech V8 engine with the automatic transmission. In 2020 the brakes and springs were replaced. The goal was to make this Wildcat a safe and reliable fair weather driver. Options include Power Steering, Brakes, Windows and the Power Top. 1968 Buick production number "fun facts" include the super low production number of the Wildcat Convertible: Only 3,572 (!) -Note that sought after Riviera was 49,284 with a total of 651,823 Buicks produced in 1968.
